How processors are listed
Our listing policy
- Every processor starts with public records only: the USDA inspection directory and state agriculture lists.
- We never write descriptions or reviews for a processor. Pages show facts, with where each fact came from.
- A processor that claims its page controls its rates, species, hours, openings and cut sheets.
- Any processor can correct or remove its listing at any time. A removed listing stays removed when public records refresh.
- Processor pages without processor-supplied facts are kept out of search engines.
