- How much does TallyTill cost?
- Three plans, no contract: Stand: no monthly fee, 0.95% + 5¢ per card sale; Shop: $15 per device per month, 0.5% + 5¢ per card sale; Market: $35 per device per month, 0.25% + 5¢ per card sale. - What hardware do I need?
- An Android phone or tablet you already own — or any modern browser. A stand, receipt printer, card reader, cash drawer or scanner are optional; the hardware guide works out exactly what your setup needs.Hardware guide →
- How do customers pay?
- When the cart is ready the customer taps to pay and gets a QR code for card or Cash App Pay. With a supported card reader they can tap or insert instead. Cash and check are recorded too, so the till still balances.Tap-to-pay or QR code? →
- Can I try it without an account?

- Does it keep track of my stock?
- Yes, and on every plan. Switch tracking on for the products that matter, and the count comes down as they sell — the till dims the tile and says sold out, and it keeps counting while the signal is gone. Every change is recorded with its reason and who made it, and you can switch on a daily email that lists what is low.How stock tracking works →
- Can I sell things by weight?
- Price per pound, kilo, ounce or gram and the till opens a full-screen pad to key the weight. Pre-weighed packages need no scale at the counter at all; where you want one, a standard scale connects over USB or Bluetooth and its reading becomes the weight display, with tare for the customer's own container.Selling by weight →
- I'm moving from Square — do my stock counts come with me?
- They do. Bring your catalog and counts over from Square, Shopify, WooCommerce, or a spreadsheet from QuickBooks. From Square, Shopify or WooCommerce, export your products as a CSV file and drop it in. From QuickBooks, export the Product/Service List report to Excel, save it as CSV, and drop that in; the title rows above the column names are skipped. - Does it work without internet?

- Can I ask my own AI assistant about my sales and stock?
- Yes. With AI Access on your account you connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code to TallyTill and ask in plain language — how sales went this week, what's running low, whether a device is set up right.
